Empire Pacific double hung window balance

Hi.
I believe the window balance is the cause for my Empire Pacific (2009) double hung window (top pane) not closing all the way. I've attatched some photos. Hopefully they will allow you to find a replacement set up.

Hi John,

From what I can see of the shoe in the window, it looks like you have an older discontinued shoe. It can likely be replaced with the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe but you'll need to remove it to compare the dimensions.

The compatible balance is the 1/2" wide Series 152 Coil Balance, which is secured to the shoe using the 33-072 screw. Take a look at the video tutorial below for instructions on how to select the correct coils for your assembly.

The coil covers can be replaced with the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.
