Encasement window crank

A quick learner from Indiana, USA says:

Need a new cranking mechanism. Not sure what type this is. It is centered in the middle of my window. Any help would be highly appreciated. I found a number stamped on one of the arms upon closer inspection, 31881. I'm not sure if that would help

Hello there!

This awning operator reminds me of our 39-239B that uses the 39-536 pivot slide assembly, which is sold separately. We also have a stainless steel version, our 39-239C, if that interests you. For a new cover and handle, I recommend our 39-451. Compare our dimensions with yours and see what you think.
