Farley Window Parts

A home owner from Manchester, NH says:
Farley Windows installed in 2006 by builder/developer. What is the best option for the Tilt latches which are slide in type. Also the sash pivot bar is nylon. Photo is part of the pivot bar. What is the best replacement option and is the pivot bar enough or do I need other parts.

Thanks for your assistance.

Many thanks for writing in to us. People with Farley Windows have used the 26-243 & 26-244 top tilt latches as replacements. As for the nylon pivot bar, we suggest our die cast flared pivot bar, the 26-412. Take a look at these parts and let us know your thoughts.

Just to be safe, could you show us an undamaged version of your pivot bar? The 26-412 is certainly possible, as Paul suggests, but the one mounting hole we can see looks a lot closer to the tip on your damaged pivot bar. Seeing an undamaged version would help confirm if it's a match. Also, if you could confirm the distance between the flared end of the pivot bar and the center of the mounting hole(s), that would be most useful. Many thanks.

A home owner from Manchester, NH says:
Upper sash has the nylon pivot arms. Lower sash has metal pivot Arms. I may want to order a new channel Arm balance 795 due to the part of the shoe below is broken. Will the metal shoe work in the upper sash?

Looks like your metal pivot bar is a match for our 26-021. This is, indeed, fully compatible with our Series 795 channel balance. As long as the hole placement works, you should be fine using these on both sashes. In fact, I bet someone had the same idea as you at some point in the past and used those metal pivot bars to replace older plastic ones that were there first.
