Faulty part

The window does not crank open as the rod with the plastic ball on the end continually pops out of the track on the window
Wondering which replacement part we need?

Your operator looks similar to our 39-014, but this normally goes with a face mounted track like the 39-505. I wonder if the operator you have now is an after market purchase that didn't match the original that came with the window. Do you have an identical window in your house that may still use the original hardware?

Thank you. If we order both parts you reference and replace them will the ball continue to pop out from the track when cranking it? All windows installed throughout are original and look the same, except for different sizes, but am unaware whether the previous owner changed the window parts to after market.

I really don't know. I've never seen a setup like yours before. It's possible the you need an operator with a smaller end bearing like the 39-366, but I can't say.

I can't say with any confidence. Your setup is unique, so you will have to use your best judgement. You will need to carefully compare the hardware I mentioned to your original parts to confirm what would work best.
