Friction shoe replacement

Caradco Friction Shoe 15-104 These were used in the windows in my home. Through the years the hook that connects to the spring broke on all my windows. I want to order replacements but was wondering if there is a better replacement part that will hold up better?

For this style of window, they never made any improvements on the design of the 15-104. They've been making these one way for a long time now. Your only other option is to purchase new jamb liners from your nearest mill work, unfortunately.
