The length of the metal portion without the clips is 25 inches.

I need to buy a large quantity as well as a lot of take out clips.

Thanks for posting. Before I can confirm what Series channel balance you have, I'll have to figure out what your bottom shoe is. Please look at the measurements for our 15-001 and 15-002 bottom shoes and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-1/8" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which measurement more closely resembles your own shoe?

It looks like my channel balance is 15-002 with 16-002 takeout clips. Based on this, can you tell me which "top sash guides" I would need.

Great, thanks. For the balance I think you should consider our Series 351 channel balance. Compare its dimensions and attachments to your own hardware and let me know what you think.

Unfortunately, we cannot identify the top sash guide based on this information. We would have to see a few pictures of the top sash guide in question removed from the window and with detailed dimensions. Let me know!
