I can't open the sliding door, it is very heavy. I have no idea what size to order, can you please help me find the right size roller. I have someone to install. I saw replacement rollers on line, Builders replacement adjustable rollers-14.85 and Premium replacement-23.25 can you help me?

I'm sorry, but I am not able to identify what roller you need based on this information. We will need to see pictures of it removed from the door, along with clear measurements. That is the only way to know for sure what it is you have installed. I know it's a pain, but that's just how these doors are made. There really going to be any helpful clues.

The door size is 78-1/4 x 36-1/4
I attached 2 pictures: 1 side & other side.
There are 2 of these in the door, one and the other.
I hope the pictures come out OK

Thank you. This is a good first step, but I'm afraid it's still not enough. You have only shown us the inside portion of the roller. There should be an outer housing, likely still installed in the door. In order to identify a replacement we need to see the entire roller unit together, both inside roller and outer housing.

This door is 26 years old, the contractor that installed the door, bought the door from another sub contractor. My contractor removed the roller and said there was no casing or housing; this roller was removed from the bottom of the door as is. Hope you can help me.

I highly recommend checking again. I am certain there is an outer housing still installed in your door. I've seen similar rollers presented just like this, and in every occasion there is more to the part. I won't be able to make a recommendation without seeing the whole roller unit. Alternatively, you can browse through our selection of single wheel rollers and see if you can find a match there. You may also find the video below helpful.

The contractor was here today and took the door frame off around the door, to get to the housing, see pictures. I think I found the the roller 81-279 wheel 1-1/4 on recommended list. Letters on bottom ASTR BEC OMCO, also picture of bottom. Let me know if you agree.

Perfect, that's exactly what we needed to see. I agree that our 81-279 appears to be the best match, just make sure the dimensions are the same and I think you're good to go.

After the screw up on the ship to address, I finally got the rollers on Monday and were installed the same day. It is GREAT and thank you again for all of your help. Marsha
