HURD

A quick learner from USA says:
I have a Hurd double hung compression window. The top (outside) window has a broken spring. The top window only has one spring.

The spring measures 20.25 x 3/8 inches. The label inside the window is:

IGCC 372 CBA. The window is the original one with the house being built in 1987.

Please quote on the spring.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

Unfortunately, the only replacement part that we carry for these naked spring balances would be the 15-104 friction shoe. If the springs are damaged, your best bet would be to contact a local millwork that may be able to provide replacement jamb liners for your window. Thanks for posting and good luck with your repair.
