Help identifying balances for 3 windows

Home Owner from Fort Myers, FL
I'd like to replace the window balances in 3 windows. All have the same top and bottom plastic parts. The photos are of the longest at 37" with 3640 stamped on it. I have a 35" with 34-9 FA2 CMC 13 stamped on it. Then a 30" with 29-91675 stamped on it.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we will need you to confirm the exact depth of your bottom fitting compare to the images below to determine the correct replacement.

You will also need to confirm the exact weight of the window sash that uses your 30" and 35" balances since the strength options you've provided are from an outdated system. Thank you.

Thank you Casey. I think the correct bottom shoe is the 15-005. Mine measure about 15/16" so (probably were 1" when new) and do not have the wings. I ordered a pair with 15-004 which are clearly wrong. I'll work on finding a way to weigh the other two sashes.

Thanks for getting back to us. Take a look at the S380, which uses the 19-005 top and 15-005 bottom fittings. Please note that they are both winged, which matches the photos that you submitted to this thread.

Your S380-37 balances stamped with 3640 will need 3640 strength options. Once you confirm the sash weight supported by your S380-30 and S380-35 balances, you'll need to follow the chart under the balance product description to choose the corresponding strength options.

Hi Casey.
The 30" weighs 36 pounds so 2965.
The 35" weighs 45 pounds, so 3465?

I agree that your S380-30 balances would need a 2965 strength option to support your sash weight.

Unfortunately, the 3465 strength option supports a maximum weight of 42 pounds but we should be able to supply them through a custom order. Just give us a bit more time to get an order link and price quote together for you.

Good news! We were able to add a 3470 strength option to the S380-35 product page, which will support a window sash between 42-45 lbs. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else.
