Help identifying correct replacement block and tackle

Handy Person from Charleston, SC
Hi,
I need a replacement block and tackle for a silverline 2901H sash. The original says 26 5 on it.
Thank you,
Karin

Hi Karin, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately the number only helps us identify the spring strength, but not the series the window uses. To further review, we will need to see the balance removed where we can see the top and bottom attachments. Is this window a tilt in or non-tilt window?

Once we can see how it installs, we can narrow down the correct series for your window. Thank you!

Hi Lauren, the window is a tilt window. Attached are pictures. Thanks, Karin

Perfect thank you,

Your window uses the Series 795 channel balance, but with the open cam style 15-195B pivot shoe. This shoe will need to be purchased additionally and swapped out with the stock shoe before installation.

Your original 26-5 does not directly translate to our options. Can you confirm if the metal channel excluding the T-lock shoe measures 26 or 27 inches long? Thank you!

Hi Lauren,
It is 27 inches long. Can you please tell me the exact parts I should order?
Thank you,
Karin

Thank you for confirming,

Please see the S795-27 channel balance. The original 26-5 stamp should translate to a 27E stamp option that can support a 26 to 30 pound window sash, but we recommend weighing the sash to confirm before purchasing.

You will also need to purchase the 15-195B 1-1/4" wide open cam and swap out with the stock shoe before installation. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
