Help identifying part

Hi,
I believe this is a series 380 channel balance. The channel itself is 25" long. The marking is very difficult to read, but it looks like it says "25 3(degrees symbol) KO CALDWELL".

I said the channel is 25" but I meant 26".

Hey can you confirm the metal channel length, not including the nylon attachments? Most balances stamped 25-3 would actually be 26" long, so I'd like to confirm before proceeding. Many thanks.

Hi Bob,
Yes, I understand the confusion, especially with me saying the wrong thing at first. But I have triple checked, the metal channel really is 26", and with the plastic ends it's about 27 1/4". I don't understand why the marking says 25, but maybe I'm just misreading it.
For what it's worth, I ordered a pair of these very recently:https://www.swisco.com/14-inch/pd/Series-380-Channel-Balances/S380-14Those fit perfectly, and all the windows in the house are the same style, but this set would be for a larger window. So I'm pretty sure the S-380 is right, and even with the confusion about the length I think the 26" is right, but I have no idea what the option/weight range should be. Would it make sense to weight the window itself?

Perfect, thanks. For standard non-tilt channel balances, the first two digits of the stamp actually refer to the height of visible glass in the window, which is usually 1" shorter than the channel balance itself. Hence why a 26" balance would be stamped 25-3. It sounds like you indeed have an S380-26. You can measure the shoe depth as seen below just to confirm. For a stamp option choose 2530.
