I need a replacement for the internal mortise lock in my sliding glass patio door.
The existing lock has two hook bolts and an anti-slam safety button. The distance between the top and bottom mounting screw centers is approximately 11 inches. The faceplate is approximately 3/4 inch wide.
The thumb-turn gets stuck, and the two hooks do not fully retract or extend, even after the lock was removed from the door. Therefore, I believe the internal mortise mechanism has failed.
I found SWISCO part 82-265, Two Point Mortise Lock, and it appears similar. Could you please confirm whether 82-265 is the correct replacement based on my photos and measurements? Please also confirm whether I can reuse my existing handles and keepers, or whether I need the 82-249 keeper or any other parts.
A similar patio door in my home has a Silver Line 5800 label, but I cannot confirm whether the problem door is the same model.
Thank you.

Hello,
We can't make out exact measurements from photos, but as long as the specifications below match your mortise lock, I agree that the 82-265 would be the correct replacement. You should also be able to reuse the rest of your hardware as long as it's in good condition. Thanks for posting!
