Help with Gorell balance

Home Owner from Cleveland
This window has been a pain for me. The window did not stay up. I tried replacing the balance earlier this year by going to a local window store. I bought a new one for one side and it still doesn't stay up...

It's a Gorell G5155 (I believe?) double hung window.
Sash weight is 21.6-21.9 lbs.

Please help.

Thanks for posting. This looks like the 15-087 Balance Shoe and 15-086 Coil Housing. This setup works with Series 180 Coil Balances. If the window sash definitely weighs between 21.6 and 21.9 pounds, use one of the S180-05 5 pound springs and one of the S180-06 6 pound springs on each side of the sash. This gives you 11 pounds of each side of the window, for 22 pounds of support overall--being within 1 pound of the exact sash weight works just fine. Let me know if you have further questions.

Does it matter which coil (5lb or 6lb) goes into the balance shoe vs. the coil housing??

And ref. my pictures, does it matter which coil I fasten above to the mounting bracket??

It doesn't matter which coil in installed at the top or bottom since they are all used together to support the total weight of the sash.
