Help with Viking Window Balance

Question

I am need if assistance in determining the appropriate window balance for this Viking Window. There are no balances present currently.

The bottom (sliding) section of the window is 26 1'/8" H x 15 3/8" W. The depth of the window is about 1" and the channel is just under 3/4".

It's very hard to identify what kind of balance you need without the original hardware. Many Viking windows like yours have been known to use the Series 395 channel balance, but this is just an educated guess. You may want to see if you have an identical window elsewhere in the house that still has its hardware.

I would also need to know the length of the visible glass and the weight of the sash.
