Help with channel balance replacement

A quick learner from Mendocino, California says:
Hello. I have a Viking non-tilt window that has no channel balances on either side.

The bottom (sliding) section is 26 1/8" H and 15 3/8" wide. The window is about 1" deep and the channel us just under 3/4". I am not sure which of the 1/2" balances is appropriate for this window.

Thanks
Michael

It's very hard to identify what you need without the original hardware on hand. I believe your Viking window uses a Series 395 side-load balance, which has the 19-005 balance top and 15-001 balance bottom shoe. Do you have a similar Viking window? At the least, it would help if you had a window that was the same height. That would help see if it matches our Series 395 fittings and give us the length of the balance. If not, I will need the weight of the window sash, the height of the sash, and the visible glass height.
