Help with fixing older windows that fall down

A handy person from Pennsylvania says:
Hello,
I am looking for help to fix older windows that keep falling down. At the bottom of the window balance spring are plastic pieces (photos attached) of a broken one and the way (I think) it goes together. The part number on one of them is PAT. 3.055.062. I think the part I need is the 15-015 pivot shoe but want to confirm. I also have a broken pivot bar on the bottom of one of the windows but did not get a picture of that. I assume the 26-040 is the correct part for that as well.

Thanks!

Greetings. I agree that the part you're looking for is the 15-015 pivot shoe that goes with the 26-040 pivot bar. It appears you have an older version of the 15-015. Luckily, the newer version holds up a lot better. With that said, you may need to replace the balance tubes, too. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
