Help with old patio door latch

Quick Learner
Please see the attached photos.  As you will note, the latch on the doorside is broken off.  The door is not labeled.  I believe it to be fromaround 1960.
Any chance you have something that can replace this, either just thelatch pin, or the entire thing?

Hello,

Unforutnately, we do not carry a direct replacement for your old-style handle set and internal latch but a surface-mounted handle set like the 82-005 may work as a replacement. Note that the hole spacing of our assembly measures 4-15/16" on-center as shown below. This could still work but you would need to make new installation holes in the door, being careful not to hit the glass. You'll also need to see if you could mount the new keeper to the door frame. Review the specifications and installation video below to see what you think. Thanks for posting!

Casey, thank you, this does look like a viable option.  I will take a closer look at the door to determine that.   Does it come in anything besides black?   The door is aluminum and everything around it is white.  Are there any other finish choices?

Unfortunately, this assembly is only available in black. We did carry a white version at one time but it was discontinued. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Casey, do you have a dimensional drawing of the keeper that comes with this surface mount handle?  The web page only shows the handle itself.   I need to determine if I have room to mount the keeper, thanks

We do not have a drawing but the keeper used with the 82-005 measures 5/8" wide by 3" tall.
