Help with part

Question

I'm looking for the piece at the top of the picture. I don't know the name but it connects to the crank handle. The part that connects to the handle is 3/8" and the manufacturer of the operator is Truth.

The part I'm looking to replace has a small chip at the end. I can open the window no problem but can't close the window at all. Can you tell me what I need to buy?

Hello,

The part you're showing is the worm gear that the handle attaches to. Once the worm gear breaks, unfortunately, the entire operator needs to be replaced. If you can open the window and show us the arms that move the sash in and out, we should be able to recommend a replacement. Thank you!
