Thanks for posting. That code actually refers to the strength of the spring inside the balance. The balance's identity is determined by the nylon fittings. Take a look at our S380-35 or S385-35. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, or what can be thought of as the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 3440.
