How does the coil spring attach to the 15-177 pivot shoe?

Hello! I just bought your 15-177 to replace my old shoe, which I believe was your discontinued 15-175. It seems like it would fit in my track, but when I screw the springs to the side of the shoe it ends up being too big to fit. What am I doing wrong?

Hello! This is a common mixup with our 15-177, but fortunately the solution is very easy. Rather than screw to the 15-177 from the side, your shoe must first insert into one of those diagonal slots you see on the top. Then, the screw comes in from one of the side holes, securing the spring to the shoe while leaving plenty of room for it to fit in the track.
Hopefully this information helps, but please let me know if you wanted to know anything else!
