How to fix window level in milestone window?

A home owner from Sanford, Florida says:

I have 12 windows in home. Window is "milestone single hung 1000". So already ordered and replaced. Channel balance(S380-29, 2840option), top sash guide(1/2", 18-180), window sash lock(2-1/4", 90-005). I installed all window parts. All window is working well. But I got just only 2 window problem. As if pic, the left window put down perfectly, but right side window is not put down perfectly. In Right side window's top, It had not much gap and bottom area had gap. I try to push down But I can't. So about top area's sash lock, I cound't insert lock perfectly and no lock. To try to fix, I exchange channel balance and window both(right-left) but I can't resolve. Same issue.

Pic1(window),pic2(sash lock),pic3(top area:no gap), pic4(l-r level), pic5(right bottom gap). Please give me good tips. Thsnks

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. If I'm following, it sounds like you bought a few S380-29 balances and installed them in two windows. One window works fine, but the other window won't close.

My first thought is that the balances you bought weren't right for that window. Did you double check to make sure that the S380-29 2840 balances were a match for what was originally installed? Let me know if that's the case and we can work from there.

A home owner from Sanford, Florida says:
Thanks for response. As described before, I have 12 windows in 6 places. Those window are same size and kind(milestone single hug window). I installed same channel balance to all windows. Those channel balance is same as "S380-29, option 2840, 29inch length). But i got problem as above problem each window at two places. When I check original balance again, I found mark(2840, D). as described above after I installed new channel balance at that window, I got same problem issue. I thought that I installed well as exact spec. Please give me some solution, check point and resolve tips. Thanks.

If your original balance has the same 2840 stamp then the ones you purchased from us definitely should have worked. I can't be 100% sure but it sounds like these might be defective parts. Can you confirm that only 4 of the 12 balances you ordered are having this problem? If so, we will send you a return label to ship these back to us to test out. If they are defective then we will send you out 4 new balances free of charge.

Just let me know that you're only having problems with 4. We need to know how many we're dealing with before we go any further.
