Hurd casement window won't open

Photo of Hurd Casement arm.  Need a left and right.  Gears are not engaging to be able to open/shut.  Sorry for the delay "life" got in way of our project.

Thanks for posting! Your Hurd casement window operator appears to have a short link arm and a long straight arm. This can be replaced with either the 39-253LB or 39-438B Encore dual arm operators. To determine which of these is the correct replacement, you'll need to review and compare the dimensions as well as the compatible hardware.
