I am requesting assistance in identifying replacement parts.

A home owner from Holt, MI 48842 says:

I am requesting assistance in identifying replacement parts (channel balance, pivot block, and pivot bar) for a double-hung window. The window was made by "Timeline Vinyl Products" (which is now out of business) and was installed in 1997. The lower sash of the window measures 37.25? wide x 29? tall, and weighs 28.5 lbs. The channel balance measures 27? long x 9/16? wide x 1/2? deep, and is stamped with "q C2645" or "p C2640". The pivot lock shoe measures 2-1/16? tall x 1-1/4? wide x 9/16? deep, and is embossed with the following text: "PATENT 4,610,108". The pivot bar measures 3? long x 3/16? wide x 5/16? thick, and has no markings (letters or numerals) on it. I have enclosed several photos of each part. Please let me know what the proper replacement parts would be.

Thank you sincerely,

Thanks for contacting us! I have good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that not only did the window manufacturer go out of business, but also the manufacturer of your individual window parts.

Your dimensions and photos are a huge help, though, and they're the reason we have good news. I think you could possibly use our S770-27 channel balance as a substitute (with a 27E option). For the pivot shoe, I recommend our 15-129 and for the pivot bar, our 26-241.

Look these parts over and let me know what you think!
