I need a new locking mechanism but don't have the lock

It is from a window master sliding glass door purchased from Home Depot in 2003 the door handle space in the screws are 4 inches perhaps 3 15/16 Apart. Thank you for your help, Mark

Hey, Mark. This looks like the face plate to a double-hook mortise lock like our 82-265. This may even be what you have, but I can't say for sure without seeing the original, which you say is missing. At this point, this is probably our best option, but there are no guarantees.

Thanks for getting back to us, Mark. That mortise sure does look an awful lot like our 82-265. Have you looked that over yet? I highly recommend it. It looks to be our best match. As long as all of our dimensions match up then you should be good to go.

The overall length on the 82-65 is 11 and three-quarter inches. The Hole to hole length is 11 inches. On my lock the overall length is 10 inches the width of the unit is a half inch and the thickness is 1 inch. Does the Patton ID number tell you anything? Thanks for your help Tom.
