Lower window will not stay up. Do you have a diagram showing how it works and what parts I would need Thanks ,Bob

Thanks for your response. I tilted the window out and found coils of metal rolled up on each side of the window at the bottom of the window.I checked other windows and did not find these rolls and concluded that these broke off or slipped out of the plastic wedge in the sash. Can you advise me how to proceed and or what parts I need to fix the problem.
upon further investigation I found a match of coil balance shoe ,slate blue code 15-177 to mine. If you look at this you will see a slot that fits the coil. I did not see any coils that would match that slot. By the way the vinyl window is 32" by 41". Thanks

Thanks for getting back to us! It appears that the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe goes with our Series 152 coil balance. Does that look like it matches your original coils? If you aren't sure, please take a few pictures of your existing coils for us to look at. Please also let us know what numbers they are stamped with.

Coil balance series 152 does not appear to have a "V" bend on the end to fit shoe 15-177

Our 15-177 pivot shoe is actually made to go with the Series 152 balance. If you still aren't sure, can we see a few pictures of your original coil?
