Identification of Balance

A from Atlanta, GA says:
I believe that I have identified the needed balance as a 32" 795, closed cam, 1.25" T-lock shoe. I will order both the shoes separately and also some complete channel balances. My question is whether the fact that the end of the channel on the ones in place currently affects using the 795 as a replacement for what I have and affects using the T-lock shoe that you have. S Thanks for the help.

Thanks for posting. I'm not sure I understand your question. Can you clarify what you mean?
A quick learner from Atlanta says:
I'm sorry that my emails do not seem to be getting to you....sorry for all
the trouble.

I'll try to be more clear. Pictures are attached that show the channel at
the T-Lock end tapers in, that is, the channel is not as wide where the
T-Lock is positioned.
I will need complete balances and also replacement T-Locks for the repairs
where I will not need to replace the entire balance.

Will your replacement T-Lock fit into a channel that narrows as the ones
shown in the pictures?
In addition, it looks like your replacement balance is straight, that is, it
does not narrow. It seems that it should attach inside the window frame the
same as the balance we are replacing.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. I'm afraid our T-lock shoes will not work in your balance, no. You have an older model that is no longer made. You will need an entirely new Series 795 channel balance.

Our Series 795 does not taper in like yours, but this actually does not affect its function. That's one main reason why they stopped making them like this.
