Identify Correct Channel Balance

The 1/2" Channel Balance looks like a 380 or 385. The top guide is certain, but the bottom guide doesn't look like either. The metal part is stamped with B.S.I. and 1010; it is 11" long. The window is 25 years old.
I ordered this same part from you a number of years ago, both for this window size and a larger window size. Unfortunately, I don't have the paperwork.
The pieces are all OK except the spring broke on one and is pretty rusty on the other. If it's possible to get the springs, that would be enough (if you agree!)
Thanks,
Dick

Thanks for posting, Dick! The springs for channel balances aren't sold separately. You would have to replace the entire unit.
Before I can offer an applicable replacement for this channel balance, however, I just need to know a bit more information about the bottom attachment. Please take a look at our 15-004 and 15-005 channel balance shoes, and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-3/32" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which measurement more closely matches that of your own bottom attachment? |

Thank you! It sounds like you have our Series 380 channel balance. However, 11" is very short, and not one of our standard options. This balance will have to be custom made. To begin, please look at this Custom Channel Balance Order Form that I have started for you and fill out the rest of the information. One of our representatives will be in contact with you shortly thereafter.
