Identify window balance to replace

Pics show emboss on latch as mfg. (EPI?)Apparently out of business in 2010. My house built in '93. Width is 1/2", length is 26 1/16" metal and 27 1/16" plastic end to plastic end. Aluminum is stamped w/ #2540. Hopefully one of your replacement parts will work for me ?

Hey there. This looks like either an S380-26 or S385-26 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom shoe. See below. Measure your old balance's shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 2540.

OK - bottom shoe measuring just over 1" so S385 looks to be the one - I'll go with that

That makes sense to me, Peter--if it's any greater than 1", it's gonna be the Series 385 in this instance. Let us know if you have further questions.
