He Elmer. You're showing me a broken pivot shoe, as well as the pivot bars that fit into them. Is there an undamaged version of this pivot shoe you can show us? I'm a little uncertain of its identity. From there, we'll do our best to find a match. Many thanks.

Thanks I will check tonight and send something

Hi Elmer. Could you please give us the width and thickness of the broken pivot shoe that you show in the first post? Also, may we see the coil spring that was attached to the broken pivot shoe? How wide is the spring, and is there numbers stamped on the end of coil tape? As far as your pivot bars go, check out our 26-241, 26-444, and 26-454. You need to match the screw hole you are using in the pivot bar to see if one of these options align.

A quick learner from Naples florida says:
26-341 pivot pin looks the closest width and length and screw home alignment

The number on springs is 9 and width is 1/2"

The width of the insert is 1 1/2" and the height is
1 3/8"

Thank you! We recognize the broken coil spring pivot shoe as one used by Alside window company. People have found that the plastic hook breaks often. I'm not even sure if this style is made anymore, but it's for the best.

We suggest the 15-177 coil spring pivot shoe as a replacement. You can still use your old coil springs by attaching them with a 33-071 screw. If you needed new coil springs, though, then you can use our Series 152. You will need the number stamped on the old coils to confirm the best match.

Finally, the 26-241 pivot bar you selected is correct.
