Inside of window channel

Hi, I'm trying to identify the metal piece that is damaged in my window. It will not stay in as these pieces are broken.

Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-177 Pivot Shoe. This shoe connects with Series 152 Coil Balances. The coil balances are tensioned springs that regulate the movement of the window. Check to see if these are broken and need to be replaced. The video below shows how to remove coil springs for a different Coil Balance system, but the principles should apply.
