Inverted window balance broken

Quick Learner from Tennessee
I need to replace the inverted window brackets on a tilt double hung window. The stamp on the brackets is 26B. The shoe is 1' wide. Please see pictures.

Thanks for posting. It looks like you might have an S795-26, stamped 26B, with a 1" 15-194 shoe. The 15-194 is sold separately, but it's an easy matter of swapping it out with the 1-1/4" shoe that comes by default with this balance. The video below explains the process.

One final detail to consider however: how does your balance attach at the top of the window track? At the end of the nylon cord there should be either a screw clip, or a hook like the 15-198. Check an undamaged balance to verify. If it uses the screw clip, go ahead and order the S795-26 (26B) as well as the 15-194 shoe; however if it uses the 15-198, please let us know, as this is not a stock item, but we'll be able to construct it for you.

Thanks for the quick response. I believe it uses the 15-198 hook. I am attaching another picture to verify.

Thank you! I appreciate you verifying.

In that case, this will have to be a custom order. To reiterate from the top what we'll be making, it would be an S795-26 channel balance with a 26B stamp, 15-194 bottom shoe, and 15-198 top hook.

If that looks good to you, please just let me know how many you wanted to buy. Once I have that count, I'll email you a purchase link and price quote that you can use to place an order on our site.
