Is Andersen 0338710 the same as 39-389?

You have an older Andersen operator. The trouble with older Andersen operators is that if they are no longer available, they are very expensive to replace.

The 39-389 is similar to the one you need, but not the same. You might have to adapt the newer operator to your window, but being similar, it could work -- with a little adjustment in the installation. See if you can manage that to save yourself a buck.
