Is this the correct replacement

Hi, this part looks similar to what I have in my Alside UltraMaxx windows. But I do see it not an exact match. Will this part be a good replacement?

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry an exact match for your pivot shoe but we have recommended the 15-177 as a possible replacement in the past. This shoe is used with the S152 coil springs and the related items found on our product pages. These work a bit differently than your original springs since the spring screws to the shoe instead of hooking onto it, but that shouldn't be an issue. Take a look and thanks for posting!

Hi Casey,

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a follow up question if I may. Will I need to purchase the S152 Coil springs to use this 15-177 Pivot Shoe or will my existing coil spring be able to connect to the 15-177? I would not be afraid to drill a hole in the existing coil spring so that it could be attached to the 15-177 with a screw.

You would need to replace the coil springs as well since the 15-177 is not designed to accept the hook-shaped coils used with your original assembly. We also do not recommend trying to make holes in the original coils, which could cause them to break while installed and potentially damage your window.
