We have not been able to find anyone to help replace our door handle, only a local handyman that was able to unlock it and remove it for us. Everyone says they do not work on these locks.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Have a look at the 82-260. This was the first mortise lock to come to mind. I recommend you review our specifications to see if they align with yours.

Thanks, I was also wondering what type of handle would work best with this, part of the handle broke as well.

This mortise lock is compatible with a handful of handle sets but the best match ultimately depends on the original. May we see some photos of the handle in question?

Thank you! We don't have a handle set with this exact style but the 82-089 is similar with a thumb lever in an offset position. Review the specifications and see what you think.
