Jeld-Wen Window Pane Trim

Contractor from Philadelphia
A stray bullet hit a customer's front window and broke the glass & retainer trim piece. It's the thin plastic piece that holds the double-pane window in place. It just snaps in around the perimeter exterior. I've included a photo of the profile of the piece, which is just shy of one inch wide. I'll need a 70"+ piece to replace the broken one. Is this something you could help me with? Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with this window but I'm confident that we can help you repair it.

To start, the trim piece you're looking for is referred to in the industry as "snap in glazing." We offer a ton of different varieties which you can see here. Reviewing your photos, I think our 55-071 might be our best bet, but you should check our measurements just to be safe. In addition to the total width of the piece, you also want to check the depth of the "hook" that wraps around the glass.

We have other possible options, too, such as the 55-011, 55-076, 55-077, and 55-119. However I think our 55-071 looks closest. I suggest you check our dimensions to see what you think. We can also send you a free sample to try out first, before you commit to a purchase. Just let me know if that's something that interests you!
