These are balances for 20 - 25 year old Jeldwen windows (I think they're all single hung). I think they were considered a "contractor series". They're not the greatest windows, but doesn't make sense to replace them on the cabin they are installed in. Hope you can help with new balances! Let me know if you need more info to ID them.

Thank you for reaching out to us. What you have here is an old rod balance that's no longer made. I'm confident we have a replacement but I'd like more information to help narrow down which Series of balance is the best part for the job. Can you remove an undamaged balance from the window and show us some photos?

Emily: here are pics of a mostly intact balance. The frame size of the window this came out of was roughly 26x43 1/2". It attaches at the top via a 2-pronged plastic connector. The prongs broke off when I removed the balance, the rest of the balance is intact. Whatever you can come up with for a replacement would work better if it had a screw attachment.
