Jordan Window channel balances

Question

I am a returning customer needing to buy two replacement channel balances for a Jordan non-tilt window in my home.

The window sash measures 30 1/4" H x 28 7/16" W and weighs 20lbs. 14.5ozs. The numbers stamped on the side of the old balance are 28-3 and K 1.

I think this is a series 390 balance based on the information on your site but I'm not sure hence before I order I thought it best to get your confirmation. And I have no idea what the four-digit "option" numbers mean so maybe you can clarify what option I need prior to me inputting my order.

I also need a few Take-out Clips P.N. 16-002 as one of mine sheared off when I removed the sash and I have a feeling I may be replacing more clips busted balances in this house as time goes buy. Thank you in advance for your help

I'm not sure what Series you have based on this information, I'm afraid. The only way to know is to make sure the size of your nylon attachments match those for that balance.

The option corresponds with your stamp and is used to determine how much weight your balances can support. A stamp of 28-3 usually corresponds to our 2830 option, but you should weigh your sash just to be sure.
