Keeper for my Door?

We recently purchased the patio door handle/lock, part #82-086 (fit perfect, works great, EXCEPT, the idiot that rehabbed this door used the wrong keeper...Does part #82-249, Keeper, work with the door handle/lock set we purchased? If not, what keeper will we require so that we can lock the door with this handle/lock? Per your request I have attached pictures of my current keeper...Please let me know if your require anything else...
