Keeper won't line up with lock

I need a keeper for my patio door lock. A Swisco rep asked to see my mortise lock and I thought it looked like the 82-260, so I ordered the keeper that goes with it.
But
This keeper doesn't line up.
The keeper doesn't line up with the double latch. What other measurements would be helpful?

What is your next suggestion?

Hello,

It seems like the hooks of your mortise lock may need to be adjusted to line up properly with the 82-249 keeper that you purchase. Take a look at the video below and give it a try. If you're still having trouble, let us know and we can go from there. Thank you.

Your video shows an adjustment screw on the lock, but my lock doesn't have that adjustment screw.
I haven't taken the handle off the door. Would that make a difference? Is there an adjustment screw or other device that I cannot see? Under the handle perhaps?
I notice my hooks point away from each other but all of your mortise locks point at each other. Does that make a difference?

You are correct that the hooks facing the opposite direction is problematic and the cause of our keeper not being compatible. I mentioned the adjustment option because you had already purchased the keeper, so it was worth a try but that would not necessarily be a solution since the mortise locks have fundamental differences.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a keeper that is compatible with the outward-facing locking hooks of your original mortise. You could try purchasing the 82-260 to use with the keeper that you purchased if the dimensions below batch up to yours but we can't guarantee that this would work for your door since it is not an exact match. I'm sorry that we can't offer a more straightforward solution to your problem but take a look and see what you think.
