Kensington hop window balance

Question

Window goes up but slides down. Window balance metal broken and plastic cracked.window size w29 1/4 by 34 3/4 long it's a kensington hpp.

I can't be sure with the original hardware still installed but what I can see reminds me of the S140-13 coil balance. I would recommend removing your assembly to compare to the specifications below. We'll also relate a few videos on this page to help you through the process. Thank you!
