Key handle set

Question

Hi, is it possible to just buy the key handle set if it looks like the door already has the correct mortise? Or do I need to purchase both the 82-265 mortise lock and the 82-086 keyed handle set? Or is there something internal to the locking mechanism that requires the purchase of both to change my door to have keyed entry from the outside? Attaching photos and hope that I'm asking my question clearly enough. Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I don't see a reason why our 82-086 wouldn't work for you. Our 82-265 resembles your old lock which is compatible with this keyed handle set. You should be good to go as long as the specifications match up.
