Latch lever handle broke

Question

Tenant broke off the latch lever handle.

Do we need a whole new main handle assembly or is there a way to replace just the lever handle?

In case we do need to replace the entire assembly, the screws are just under 4" apart.

What do you recommend?

I am afraid we don't have an exact match for this handle set, but I'm wondering if you could use the 82-005 as a replacement. It has a very similar surface-mount configuration, although the mounting holes are 4-15/16" apart, so you might have to drill new holes to install it. Take a look and see what you think.
