Latch lever won't turn locking dogs, it looks broken off and therefore too short

A quick learner from Sutton's Bay, Michigan says:
As above. When handle installed on door, the oblong extension on locking lever will not reach slot in mortise mechanism to turn it. Is replacement level with oblong jam fitted piece available?

Hello,

If the thumb lever is the only issue, you should be able to replace it with our 82-106 turning lever. Unfortunately, it is not available in the metallic finish of your handle but we've had customers paint these parts in the past to match their existing hardware. Take a look and see what you think!
