Sliding Door Turning Lever

Latch does not latch door. Latch moves freely please help!

The handle latch is broken. Do you have a similar latch?

I have Herculite Sliding Patio Door (Anderson) from the 1980s. I have a universal handle which works fine except the latch is not long enough (3/4"). Hello, I am not sure of the manufacture of the sliding glass door but the thumb latch has snapped off. I need to replace it and would like to know if you have one that will work with this door.
