Looking for this lift spring. Hope you can help since Accent Windows is out of business. I need several and instructions for inserting into channel, if you have any.
P.S. I've submitted this post before and didn't hear from anyone at your company.
sincerely: Mike

Hi, Mike. I see that your previous discussion was answered and that we requested to see your hardware removed from your window. You'll need to remove your pivot shoe to confirm but check out our 15-087 coil housing pivot which holds the Series 180 Roller-Tilt coil spring. Look over our dimensions and compare them to your current hardware to see if this matches up for what you need. The video below demonstrates how to remove a pivot shoe using a cutout method. Let me know if this helps. |
Hi Emily1 Thanks for your quick response. I've attached a picture of my lifting device.
It has two springs and measures 4" (H) X 1 1/4" (W) X 5'8" (D). Both springs should be encased in the housing, but as you can see the housing has broken away. They also orientation of left and right.
The top spring is anchored to a mounting bracket, but I can't figure out what the bottom spring is anchored to.
In any case, I hope you have something that will work!!
Sincerely, Mike

It looks like you have our 15-087 housing that holds the Series 180 coil spring. Take a look at our 15-086 tandem coil housing and 16-024 mounting bracket as well. Look these items over and see what you think. If you have any further questions just let us know. |
Emily, Looks like you nailed it for me, I'll order the parts. I'm still confused on what the bottom spring/coil is anchored to as everything was in pieces when I removed the components.
Could you provide some assistance with that??
Thanks, Mike

Hi, Mike. The bottom coil would be inside the coil housing pivot and then goes through the bracket and screws into the window. Take a look at the image below and let me know if this helps. Detail of 15-086
