Locking Mechanism Stuck

Question

Hello from TN,

Really need some help. Top locking mech. stuck in the downward (almost locked) position. Something inside the set broke and I would like to replace the whole piece, just can't find one the same size.

Hello,

Your mortise lock resembles the 82-265, which is used with the 82-249 keeper. Take a look and review the specifications below to confirm that they match up to yours. You could also consider the 82-030 handle set with 3-15/16" installation holes if you need to replace the whole assembly down the line. Thanks for posting!
