Locking mechanism

I ordered this bracket doesn't fit. I don't know if I need a whole handle to make it fit. The bracket I ordered is the correct length but has some other features my bracket doesn't have.  Like the new one has a plunger in the front.

don't have something that will work or how to make this work?

Thanks for reaching out! Your mortise lock appears to be missing its faceplate. Would you possibly still have this part? It is important for how the lock installs to the door and ensuring the dimensions are accurate.

Please let me know if you have any other questions you might have!

Thanks for the additional photos. Since your lock has a faceplate, you'll need the 82-265 Multi-Point Mortise Lock. Your existing keeper may not be compatible with it, so you may also need the 82-249 Sliding Glass Door Multi-Point Keeper.

You can reuse the handle if it's in good shape, but we'll need to see photos of the original if you'd like to replace it.
