Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 82-086 handle set to see how it compares to your original. This handle set has a 3-15/16" installation hole spacing from center to center. If you are only looking to replace the thumb lever, take a look at the 82-107 latch lever kit as a potential replacement.

Yes the original Jeldwen handle is longer, but as long as the installation holes match up, the 82-086 should be a good match for you.
