I'm looking for this mortise. Screws on the plate are about 10-7/8" apart

the 3rd picture on that product 82-265 shows a measurement from the inside of the hook to inside of the hook at 5 11/16. mine is 5 1/4. will that fit or do you need to find a different lock

We don't have a lock with that hook spacing, so you'll have to try to find a way to make ours work. I think as long as you replace the keeper with our 82-249 then you should be okay. The hook spacing is only relevant in the context of what the hooks are physically attaching to; in this case, that'd be the 82-249. Let me know what you think.
