Looking to add a lock to a Milgard slider

A quick learner from Portland, OR says:
Have a 2010 series 5621/5631. Would like to add a lock to be able to open from the outside. Ideally a smart and/or programmable, but don't see those as options quite yet for sliders, so a key likely the best next bet...

Hello,

We don't offer anything programmable but if you could show us your original handle set and confirm the distance between the mounting holes, we'd be happy to confirm if any compatible keyed handle sets are available. Thank you!

Here you go, thanks for the quick response.

Great, take a look and compare the specifications of the 82-081 keyed handle set with 4-15/16" installation holes to yours. If you need the mortise lock as well, I'd recommend removing the trim piece to access the mortise to compare to the 82-268B and 82-238. Please note that the faceplate of the 82-238 mortise can be removed. Thank you.
